Sanctuary of Saint Caterina

This complex of building is centred on what was the home of Saint Catherine of Siena, the patron saint of the city and of Europe, and testifies to the importance of religion in late medieval Siena. At less than a kilometre from La Villa, it is easily visited on foot.
