Piazza del Campo

Designed in the form of a sea-shell, the central square of the city is its heart and soul. Here, twice a year, the famous Palio is run in which the 17 districts, or contrade, compete with each other. Walking from the Villa to the Piazza del Campo will take around 15 minutes.
